Instructions

Cream butter and sugar. Add water and vanilla. Mix well. Blend in flour and nets, then chill for 4 hours. Shape into balls or gingers. Bake on increased cookie sheet at 325º for about 20 minutes. Remove from pan and cool slightly and then roll in confectioners sugar.

Makes 3 dozen

Time ≈ 4 1/2 hours

  • 1 cup of butter or margarine
  • 1/3 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp. of water
  • 2 tsp. of vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup of chopped pecans
  • Confectioners sugar
